(in concept, not so much in practice, when making a nail bat the wood tends to splinter if it's a cheap bat and the nails are too big but they have to be big? which can be obnoxious and also not really in practice because we haven't devolved as a society to the point where we need to harm other people with nail bats
that's why we draw furries with nail bats
vicariously solves our violence problems)
